I was raised outside of the small town of Garden City, Missouri, surrounded by timber and pasture. As a kid, I used to love watching storms roll through, slowly engulfing the distant tree lines and structures. While I generally try to capture the surrounding backdrop of the Midwest in my work; oil pumps, windmills, and cattle, I also love painting mountains and the wide open spaces of the West.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Central Missouri State University in 2003. I work out of my studio in Raymore, MO.
